Built for the way resellers actually decide
Not one blended percentage — every fee line (final value, per-order, payment processing, Offsite Ads) shown separately, so you know exactly where the money goes and which platform is quietly expensive.
Type the profit you want to clear and the calculator tells you the listing price that survives the fees — the number most sellers guess and most tools hide.
Fee structures changed hard in 2024-2025 (Mercari and Depop dropped seller commissions, eBay added per-order fees). Every page shows its verification date — a stale fee table costs real money.
The fee math every reseller should run once
A sale is never worth its listing price. Between platform commission, payment processing and shipping subsidies, the money that reaches your bank is typically 12-25% smaller than what the buyer paid — and the spread differs wildly by platform and price point. On a $30 item, Poshmark takes 20% while Mercari now takes 0% from the seller (the buyer pays a protection fee instead); on a $300 item, eBay’s 13.25% plus $0.40 lands near $40 while Grailed’s flat 9% costs $27.30. The “best platform” question has no universal answer — it has a per-item answer, and it takes about ten seconds to compute on this site.
The calculators also handle the side most sellers forget: your goal. Pricing by cost-plus feels safe, but the market pays for outcomes — the eBay profit calculator runs the math backwards from the profit you want to keep, fees included. Run your actual numbers on two or three platforms before you list, and the “where should I sell this” debate ends with arithmetic instead of forum folklore. Start with the eBay fee calculator if you sell there, or the all-platform comparison if you are deciding where to list at all.
